Olympic flame will be brought to Sochi on Russian troika
Andrei Korchagin, six times winner of Russia’s championships on riding Russian troikas has been invited to take part in the opening ceremony of the 2014 Olympics, Sochi-24 informs.
According to Korchagin, he wanted to stage a laser show with four Russian troikas. However, the Games’ organizers rejected this idea because of the complexity of its implementation. However, they have asked him to carry the Olympic flame around the city. Two troikas with coal black horses are already preparing for this assignment.
