Georgian Dream to introduce several candidates for president

Chairman of the parliamentary committee for legal affairs Vakhtang Khmaladze said on January 8 that the Georgian Dream coalition may have several of its members running for president. Defense Minister irakly Alasania may be one of them.

The candidates will be chosen in the next months.

Georgia will have presidential polls in October 2013. President Mikheil Saakashvili cannot be re-elected for the third term, according to the Constitution.
