Important decisions taken in Sofia on Nabucco

The first for this year sitting of the Nabucco Committee took place in Sofia.

Governmental delegations from Austria, Romania, Hungary and Turkey took part in it, along with representatives of the investing companies, of the EC, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the International Monetary Fund. A declaration was adopted on the development of the project’s western segment that will link the Turkish systems with Bulgaria.

PM Borissov voiced at the forum that Bulgaria was ready with the papers on Nabucco for its territory and its construction would kick off mid-2013.
