Tourist project to revive Vidin Region
The regional administration in Vidin, Northwestern Bulgaria, has been working on a project for sustainable transport and tourism along the River Danube in partnership with organizations from 14 Danube countries.
Under the project, a marketing strategy will be devised for the development of tourism in the Vidin Region as well as tourist packages and packages for mobility with combined transport routes. Officials from the regional administration believe that the products under the project will be instrumental in a growing tourist demand locally. The project leader is the environmental agency of Austria.
