Russia may establish a ministry of renewable natural resources

A new government agency may appear in Russia that will take over the authority to regulate the fishing industry, as well as forestry and hunting, PortNews reports.

According to the newspaper «Kommersant», the issue of creating a single executive body for the management and supervision of reproducible natural resources has been discussed in the government since the end of last year. It has been suggested that the Government should return to the issue of establishing the Ministry of Fisheries or a ministry of renewable natural resources on the basis of the agencies, responsible for the forestry, fishing and hunting.
