The exhibition is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in cooperation with the Economics Ministry, under the government’s patronage.
Deputy Prime Minister, Economics Minister Valeriu Lazar said this exhibition starts a new string of economic activities, which the government in partnership with other organisations, namely, the CCI, has planned to implement. The same conference will host 15 roundtables, workshops, presentations, during which participants will discuss the enhancement of the goods’ competitiveness, via increasing energy efficiency and drawing investments. Lazar has also said participants will tackle the impact a deep and comprehensive free trade agreement with the EU may have on Moldovan producers as well as issues related to small business lending.
For his part, the head of the CCI, Gheorghe Cucu said the national exhibition «Made in Moldova» is meant to increase the industrial and technological potential of Moldovan enterprises, develop business, consolidate trade and market infrastructure as well as contribute to the successful enforcement of the programme «European Integration: Freedom, Democracy, Welfare 2011-2014».
