Budget deficit for 2012 less than 0.5 percent

Bulgaria’s fiscal reserve on 31 December 2012 was to the tune of EUR 3.119 bln. or 7.8 percent of the GDP foreseen.

The budget balance under the consolidated fiscal programme for 2012 was negative and amounted to EUR 180 mln., or 0.45 percent of the GDP foreseen, which is significantly a lower value than the 1.3 percent envisaged in the state budget.
