Genovese fortresses in Crimea will become part of a new tourist route, developed by Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

This was announced by the AR Crimea First Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism Mr. Nicolai Marinov.

According to him, the route includes visiting Genovese fortresses, located on Ukraine’s Black Sea Coast.

«In the spring of 2013 a delegation from Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism will come to Crimea, they will visit the fortress in Sudak, other similar objects on the peninsula, and will consider their incorporation into a new tourist route», - said Nikolai Marinov.
