Plovdiv to participate in project for congress tourism

Bulgarian Minister of Transport Information Technologies and Communications Ivailo Moskovski has approved the participation of the city of Plovdiv in a European project for the creation of a network of cities helping the development of expo and congress tourism.

The Minister took part in an international forum in Italy related to the topic and said the traditions of Plovdiv as an expo center together with its rich cultural past turn it into an attractive destination for business meetings. One of the aims of the forum was making connections between cities and facilitating cooperation between the business and the state sector in order for finding new business opportunities.
