Bulgaria is EU country of least young people
Bulgaria is among the countries in the EU with the lowest percentage of young people in the 0-14 age group, Eurostat statistics show, analyzing the structure of EU population in 2011.
In Bulgaria young people in this age bracket are make up only 13.2 percent of the population. The figure for 1991 was 20.1 percent, Eurostat informs. The average age of the Bulgarian population in 2011 has been 42.5 years, statistical figures show.
