Ukraine in talks with Turkey over tanker traffic through Bosporus
Ukraine continues talks with Turkey about the possibility of the traffic of tankers with liquefied natural gas through the Bosporus Strait, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at a meeting with the U.S. Department of State's Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs, Carlos Pascual, in Kyiv on February 4.
«We have problems with the construction of a terminal for liquefied natural gas. They are related to the fact that Turkey reluctantly views the traffic of oil tankers with liquefied gas through its straits,»said Azarov.
He added that Ukraine is exploring various opportunities to provide itself with gas through its regasification terminals.
