Turkey to spend $60 billion on infrastructure in 2013
Turkey plans to spend $60 billion on development of infrastructure in 2013, Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim said, Star reports.
This includes completion of the Marmaray Tunnel under the Bosphorus. Construction of the third airport of Istanbul will start this year. A total of 11 facilities will be launched and construction of 102 will start this year.
The tender for the airport construction will be held on May 3. 14 companies will take part. It will be built at Lake Terkos and will have a flow of about 150 million passengers annually.
