Construction of Georgia’s Namakhvan dams postponed

The beginning of construction of the Namakhvan dam cascade planned for the first half of 2013 has been postponed for studies of its influence on local ecology, Business Georgia reports.

International experts requested additional geological and hydrological analyses, studies of ecological and social impact of the facilities. The studies will be completed in the second half of 2013.
