Sofia refutes lowering of diplomatic level with Teheran

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov said for the BNR that Bulgaria does not intend lowering the level of diplomatic relations with Iran.

To prove his statement Minister Mladenov informed that after the ambassador of Iran left Bulgaria, the next ambassador is expected to arrive to Sofia by the end of the week or at the beginning of the next. Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister defined as speculation the statements relating to a connection between that Islamic republic and the bomb attack at Burgas Airport, which took six lives in July last year.
