Sochi and Anapa are most popular places among tourists

The survey, made by the Krasnodar Krai’s Ministry of Resorts and Tourism, has shown that most tourists like to vacation in Sochi and Anapa, the city has received 4.2 points on a five-point scale. The lowest scores got Yeysky and Temryuksky districts - 4 points. Anapa received the highest rating among health resorts - 4.7.

In the whole of the region, accommodation, meals and attractions were accessed at 4.4 points. Medical treatment, entertainment and excursions - at 4.3 points.
It has been found that 16% of visitors come to the resort, not having planned their vacation in advance.
In addition, the survey has confirmed that the largest portion of expenditures of the Krasnodar Krai guests is taken by transportation costs - up to 17 ths RUB.
Average cost of accommodation per person in 2012 was 1.4 ths RUB per day. Food takes about 20% of an average tourist’s total expenditures, gifts and souvenirs - only 11%. Average vacationer’s daily expenditures come to a total of about 1-1.5 ths RUB.
Prices in Temryuksky district have been found to be most affordable, followed by Anapa and Gelendzhik.
