Turkey responds to mortar shell from Syria
A mortar shell supposedly fired from Syria landed in the town of Yayladağı in the southern Turkish province of Hatay late on February 14, Hurriyet Daily News reports.
The shell landed in a forested area 1 kilometer away from the Kayapınar military border outpost and no casualties were reported. Turkey responded to the shell immediately.
Clashes in Syria are heard easily in Yayladağı.
