Parliament accepted cabinet’s resignation

Bulgaria’s National Assembly accepted the resignation of the cabinet of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. The resignation was voted in the presence of the Premier and his ministers.

In plenary hall there were 215 MPs. Of them 209 voted For the resignation, 5 voted Against and 1 abstained. The Prime Minister called the multitude of people who had gathered outside the Parliament building to support him, to withdraw and avoid tumult.
