Germany’s Interior Minister calls Bulgaria to take measures against emigration
Germany’s Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich called Bulgaria and Romania to take measures for preventing emigration towards better-off countries in the EU, Germany included.
Many immigrants coming from Bulgaria and Romania arrive to Germany with the only idea to live on social allowances, Minister Friedrich pointed out for the ZDF television. According to official data up to date in Germany there are around 209 000Romanians and nearly 121 000 Bulgarians.
