Volume of trade and services turnover between Ukraine and Turkey grew by 8.3% up to $6.15 billion in 2012

Turnover of goods and services between Ukraine and Turkey increased by 8.3% up to $ 6.15 billion, which is 469.5 million more than in 2011. This is stated in the message the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The meeting was held on February 27.

Recall, according to the State Statistics Committee, trade turnover between the two countries in 2012, increased by 7.8% (407 million) compared to 2011and amounted to 5 billion 637 million US dollars.

Ferrous metals, fats and oils, fertilizers, seeds and fruits of oil plants dominated in the structure of Ukrainian exports to Turkey in 2012. In turn, in the structure of import from Turkey dominated the edible fruits and nuts, citrus fruits, textiles, knitwear, ground transport, plastics, polymeric materials.
