Public transport fares to rise in Novorossiysk

Starting from March 15, 2013 the fares for Novorossiysk trolley-buses will rise up to 12 rubles, Yugopolis informs.

According to Novorossiysk City Administration press service, public transport fares have remained unchanged since March 2009, and currently amount to 10 rubles per trip.

OJSC «Novorossiysk Trolley-bus» losses have reached 51 million rubles. Experts note that fare containment provides no possibilities for company’s development, renewal of trolley-buses, and repairs and laying of new lines.
