Moldovan PM to visit Brussels
Acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat will pay a working visit to Brussels on 14 March 2013, the government’s communication and media relations service has reported.
Filat will participate in the European People’s Party (EPP) summit to present the political situation in Moldova.
Attending the event will also be the head of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, the head of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, heads of state and prime ministers of the European countries representing the EPP.
Filat will participate in the Moldova - EU negotiations on the creation of a free trade area and on an association agreement, due in Brussels on 11-15 March.
At the same time, Filat will hold a string of meetings with various officials of the European commissions.
