Erdogan begins European tour
On March 19th Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will begin a tour of Europe, the Anadolu news agency informs.
The prime minister will first visit Denmark. In Copenhagen the head of the Turkish cabinet will meet with Danish Queen Margrethe II and the country's Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
Erdogan will then travel to the Netherlands, where he will meet with Queen Beatrix and Prime Minister Mark Rutte. The Turkish prime minister will also take part in the Rotterdam economic forum.
The purpose of Erdogan's visit is to discuss Turkey's long-term EU bid with European partners.
