Turkey to recognize Bulgarian diplomas again

Ankara’s Council of Higher Education removed the ban on the legalization of the diplomas, received by Turkish students in Bulgarian universities.

The continuing of the student enrollment in Bulgaria is also allowed. The decision has been published on the website of the Council and has entered into force. We remind that about a year ago Turkey stopped to recognize the Bulgarian diplomas, pointing out as reasons the great number of forgeries and ceased the sending of Turkish students to Bulgaria. After a series of talks Turkey checked some 8,000 diplomas, issued in this country.
