Exhibition “Sochi 2014: Road to the Olympics” opened in Sochi

Book and illustration exhibition “Sochi 2014: Road to the Olympics” was opened in Sochi Central Library on March 19.

The exhibition consists of several sections. The section named “Construction with the Olympic scope” presents a number of album editions, including “Sochi 2014” and “Introduction of green construction standards”. The collection also includes newspaper publication and web materials on the celebration “A year until the Games”, commissioned Olympics facilities, and test competitions in 2013.

“Paralympians – forward!” section is devoted to sportsmen with limited health abilities.

Fundamentals of the volunteer Olympic movement in Russia are covered by “Volunteers on their marks” section.

Organizers strongly believe that the exhibition will be expanded considerably in the years to come.
