Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan to continue partnership development

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met Azerbaijani Vice Premier Elchin Efendiyev in Ashkhabd and discussed realization of bilateral agreements, Trend reports.

Both states are interested in using alternate routes to transport energy carriers of the Caspian Region to Europe. One of such projects is the trans-Caspian Gas pipeline running from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan. It may become part of TANAP and Nabucco.

Turkmenistan transits oil through Azerbaijan.
