Report of European Parliament for Turkey approved

The committee for foreign affairs of the European Parliament passed the report for Turkey.

The document encourages Turkey to continue judicial reforms, constitutional developments, negotiations, pluralism of media and proper functioning of democratic institutions.

The document was made by Omen Reuten. Emine Bozkurt of the European Parliament noted progress implied in the text. 54 votes were given to the document and 4 against.

It will be considered in Strasburg in mid-April.
