760 Bulgarians work in Israel’s construction sector

Currently, 760 Bulgarians work in Israel’s construction sector, said Nedko Nedkov, manager of Sela Foundation that represents the interests of the Israeli cabinet under an agreement signed with Bulgaria.

Under this agreement, 3,500 Bulgarian construction workers can work in the construction sector in Israel over the next three years and a half. Bulgarians have all rights along with Israeli workers and receive a monthly salary of 1,800 USD. The living conditions for each Bulgarian worker are strictly regulated. Currently, 1000 people have applied for a job in Israel.
