Russian government approves cooperation agreement with Moldova in labor migration field

The Government of the Russian Federation okayed a cooperation agreement with Moldova, in the field of labor migration.

According to the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Moldova, the draft document was worked out by the Federal Migration Service, in line with Article 11 of the Federal law on «International Agreements with the Russian Federation.»     

Thus, in accordance with the Article 14 of the Cooperation Agreement, the labor migrants will have the right to work in the host country on the basis of labor agreements, concluded with employers of the host country, and to sign civil law contracts on performance of work (provision of services).

«The signing and the subsequent ratification of this agreement will make it possible to enhance the efficiency of bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of labor migration and to foster the immigration into the Russian Federation of the qualified Moldovan specialists,» says the message of the Russian Embassy.
