Passage of trucks via Bulgaria, Romania river border made difficult

Long queues of trucks formed at the border checkpoints between Bulgaria and Romania because of the closing of the only bridge between the two countries at Ruse.

Because of a pothole that appeared in one of the lanes of the bridge, it will be closed for trucks over 10 tonnes until this Saturday at least, reports Road Infrastructure Agency. The Ministry of Interior has regulated the redirecting of the traffic via the ferryboat links at Svishtov, Silistra, Oryahovo and Vidin as the border authorities pay efforts to facilitate the traffic.
