President Plevneliev opens national conference on strategic infrastructure

Bulgarian President Rossen Plevneliev called political parties during the election campaign not to juxtapose social and income policy to investments in strategic infrastructure because this is a non functioning model and would bring no good for Bulgaria.

The Head of State made the statement in his speech at the Eighth National Conference entitled «Strategic infrastructure Bulgaria 2013».

Future governments of the country, regardless of their political colour, should work for economic growth and social development. That means to preserve the focus on speedy building up of infrastructure in the name of sustainable and balanced development of Bulgaria and its regions, of European future and European cohesion, the President pointed out.
