Danube water level reaches 8 meters at places
The water level of Danube River exceeded 8 meters in some parts of the upper stream of the river. The water level near the town of Lom was measured at 803 centimeters on April 14 morning which is 4 centimeters more than the measuring made on April 13.
The water level near the town of Vidin reached 8 meters where an increase of 6 centimeters was registered over the past 24 hours. Teams from the Irrigation Systems are monitoring closely the condition of the protective installations. According to experts, all water embankments are in good condition at present.
