Premier Marin Raykov meets ambassadors of Russia and Israel
Bulgaria and Russia are strategic partners and have long life special relations. This was ascertained at the meeting in Sofia between the Bulgarian caretaker Premier Marin Raykov and the Russian ambassador to Sofia Yuriy Isakov.
They accentuated on the importance of the South Stream gas pipeline for Bulgaria as well as for the surrounding region. Ambassador Isakov expressed the willingness of the Russian side to negotiate on all details regarding the implementation of this project.
Marin Raykov also met with the ambassador of Israel to Bulgaria Shaul Camiza- Raz. The Bulgarian people showed the other nations that the genocide against the Jewish people in the past was not inevitable and salvation was possible, said Premier Raykov on occasion of the 70th anniversary since the rescuing of the Bulgarian Jews during the WW2. Premier Raykov also said that the Bulgarian side continues the investigation of the terrorist attack which took place at Burgas airport in July 2012, where 5 Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian national were killed. Bulgaria will provide all evidence to its partners and allies from the EU and NATO, concluded Marin Raykov.
