Talks between Sofia and Skopje on hot issues to be reported in EC

The European Commission would report on April 16 about the fact that Bulgaria and Macedonia are negotiating on disputable issues.

The EC will present its reports on the achievements of Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo on their way to the EU. The report on Macedonia will assess as positive the steps made along the bilateral talks with Sofia for the establishing of good neighborly relations without Skopje’s distorting the common history Macedonia and Bulgaria have as well as the continuing attempts for finding a solution to the dispute with Greece about the name of Macedonia.

The EC will also report that the latest political events in Macedonia are not in favor of that country’s European perspective.
