Armenian wine makers concerned about Georgian products in Russia
Avag Arutyunyan, President of the Armenian Union of Wine-Makers, expressed concerns that return of Georgian wine to Russia would reduce imports of Armenian wine. About 75% of exported wine of Armenia is bought by Russia, Lragir.am reports.
Georgia used to export 50-55 million bottles of wine to Russia, with a capacity of 15-20 million.
Arutyunyan said that Georgian wine had been cheaper until 2008. It has become more expensive.
