Sofia City prosecution opens procedure against Stanimir Florov for bribery

A ruling of Sofia Prosecution Office opens pre-trial proceedings against the director of Chief Directorate Fight with Organized Crime Stanimir Florov for large scale bribery.

The Prosecution has informed the Minister of the Interior on the proceedings and has suggested the Minister initiates the respective measures according to the Law on the Ministry of the Interior. During the investigation evidence would be sought for committing a crime according article 357 of the Penal Code (divulgation of classified information) the Prosecution Office informs.
