Sofia hosts international defence forum

An international forum entitled” integrity in supply of arms, military equipment and utilization of weapons and public-private partnership” was launched in Sofia on April 23, 2013.

The three-day working seminar is under the “Construction and integrity” project where Bulgaria is a leader in the frameworks of the series of meetings between Defence Ministers from the Southeastern Europe and is among the leading countries in the NATO confidential fund for “Construction and integrity”. Over 30 experts from 10 countries from Southeastern Europe, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Russia are taking part at the forum. Topics related to the public private partnership, corruption risks in public procurement in the defence field as well as to the utilization of the excessive armaments and equipment, will be discussed at the forum.
