After receiving «stars» Kuban hotels have worsened quality of service

Discussion of the findings of the quality of services’ survey conducted in hotels of Krasnodar, Sochi and Anapa was held at the Kuban’s Ministry of Resorts and Tourism.

It was noted that, after receiving certificates of classification category («stars»), owners of some hotels later worsened the quality of services. This was discovered in 8 hotels out of 20 surveyed, Live Kuban reports.

It was decided to carry out a further assessment of hotels for compliance with the classification system. If the blemishes would not be corrected within the prescribed period, such lodging facilities would be stripped of the assigned «stars».

By the 2014 Olympics all Sochi’s hotels and mini-hotels must undergo a mandatory classification. After classification the number of places of accommodation for visitors could reach about 500 thousand.
