Resort Avenue in Sochi will be closed for the 1st of May parade
Along with the Day of Spring and Labor, on May 1 Sochi will celebrate the opening of the high summer season. The celebration’s slogan is «Catch your summer!».
The events will be started at 10 am by the 1st of May parade from the Winter Theater to the square near the sea port. A number of entertainment events will take place at the square near the south pier of the sea port from the noon and till the late evening.
Sochi guests and residents will enjoy the «Summer Bazaar» Fair, performances of the local bands and show groups, and at 20.00 – the ceremony of the resort season 2013 official opening, Sochi-24 reports.
The guests will be entertained by show groups from Moscow and St. Petersburg, and the celebration will be concluded by the fireworks.
