Air temperature to reach +31 degrees this week in Moldova
The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal air temperature of up to +31 degrees on 29 April-6 May.
The first deputy director of the above-mentioned service, Elina Plesca, said no precipitations were expected on 30 April. The night-air temperature will oscillate between +11 and +16 degrees and the day-time air temperature will vary between +26 and + 31 degrees.
Short-term rainfalls, accompanied by lightening, are expected on 1-2 May at night, as well as at the end of the week. No precipitations are forecast for the rest of the week. The night-time air temperature will oscillate between +10 and +16 degrees.
The air temperature during the day will oscillate between +26 and +31 degrees on 1 May and will vary between +22 and +27 degrees on 2 May. The daytime-air temperature will also vary between +24 and +29 degrees on 3-4 May and between +20 and +25 degrees on 6 May.
According to State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2012/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +30.4 degrees Celsius on 29 April 2012 and the lowest -1.1 degrees Celsius on 29 April 1915.
