«Crimean two hundred» bicycle marathon to be conducted in the Crimea

The conduct of the «Crimean two hundred» bicycle marathon in the Crimea has been scheduled for May 11.

According to the organizers, all sportsmen above 18 are invited for participation in the marathon. The participants must obey the traffic rules and move in accordance with the road signs.

«Any participant’s task is to cover the distance autonomously within the set time limits. The participants have to reach each of the monitoring posts within the time between its opening and closure. The time will be specified in the route’s legend», — organizers have informed.

The sportsmen are not allowed to veer off the route and to use escort vehicles. The distance must be covered within 13 hours and 30 minutes, Crimean news informs.

Organizers are currently considering 2 routes of the marathon: a mountain route — Simferopol – Alushta – Yalta – Bakhchysarai – Simferopol, and the flat country route — Simferopol - Bilohirsk - Nyzhnohirskyi - Krasnohvardiiske - Simferopol.
