Wind power stations to appear in Georgia

Georgia will start the development of the wind power generation industry. Implementation of the wind power station project will be commenced in 2014.

Such information has been announced by the Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze in his conversation with journalists.

«We have already started the preparation for the project. Next year we will launch the operation of pilot stations, but they are not going to be that large – we are speaking about the power of 20MW», – he has noted.

According to the Minister, the first phase of the project is supposed to take place in Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti, Business Georgia informs.
