Kuban airports served more than 1.3 million people

In January – April 2013 airports of the Krasnodar Krai served more than 1.3 million people.

According to the «Basel Aero» press service, the passenger flow grew by 10.7% as compared with the similar period of 2012.

The passenger flow in April was more than 361 thousand people, exceeding the result of the similar period in 2012 by 14%. More than 77 thousand people were transported in this month to international destinations (growth by 28%), and approximately 285 thousand people – to domestic destinations (growth by 10%). The number of flights from company’s airports in April grew by 10% and reached 2131.

Anapa airport showed considerable growth of the passenger flow. More than 19 thousand people were transported in April to both international and domestic destinations (growth by 34%).

Sochi airport passenger flow also grew by 18% as compared with April 2012, exceeding 131 thousand people. More than 22 thousand people were transported in this month to international destinations (growth by 37%), and more than 109 thousand people – to domestic destinations (growth by 15%).

In April Krasnodar airdrome served approximately 204 thousand people (growth by 10%): 55 thousand people were transported to international destinations (growth by 24%), and 149 thousand people – to domestic destinations (growth by 6%).

Gelendzhik airport showed the 3% growth of the passenger flow, reaching 7 thousand people, Live Kuban reports.
