The Netherlands to open labor market for Bulgarians on January 1

The Netherlands is to open its labor market for Bulgarians on January 1, 2014 Dutch Ambassador to Sofia Van Kesteren has said.

In June an expert mission would visit the country to discuss issues related to labor migration. The ambassador added that The Netherlands would take the political decision over the Bulgarian Schengen bid in December, when a new EC report on the progress of the country is due to be published. The ambassador voiced his hope that Bulgaria would be able to form a strong government, which is one of the factors for improving the business climate in the country.
