70,000 people visit the Second National Fair of sheep breeders in Bulgaria
At the meadows near the Saints Paul and Peter Monastery near the town of Veliko Tarnovo in Northern Bulgaria the second National fair of sheep breeders in Bulgaria was held.
In the course of three days, there were various contests in different types of milking and shearing sheep, races in pulling by the best Bulgarian draft horses, shows of Bulgarian Karakachan dog and races in pulling by the best Bulgarian draft horses.
There was also a zone for showcasing crafts and small shops for sheep products. Nearly 70,000 people visited the fair with more than 80 groups and performers of authentic folklore from across the country took part in a folk music contest entitled «A lamb started bleating».
