Turkey hosts 6.6 mln foreign tourists in Q1

The number of foreign tourists visiting Turkey increased by 13.02 percent in April 2013 compared to the same term of the previous year.

In the first quarter of 2013, 6,665,379 people visited Turkey according to the figures compiled by AA from figures of Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

So in the first four months of 2013, number of people who visited Turkey increased 13.48 percent.

The highest percentage in foreign tourists was recorded with Germany with 14.55 percent followed by Russia with 8.19 percent and Georgia with 5.46 percent.
