Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania and Italy seek EU support for Corridor #8
Parliamentary Chairs of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania and Italy will send a letter to the President of the European Parliament with a request for Corridor #8 to be introduced in the EU financial frame for the period 2014-2020.
The agreement was reached in Ochrida, on the part of Bulgarian Parliamentary Chairman Michail Mikov and his macedonioan counterpart Traiko Velyanovski. The meeting took place within the frame of the conference of parliamentary chairpersons from the countries of the Process for Cooperation in Southeast Europe.
Macedonia wants to continue high level talks with Bulgaria with the aim to enhance mutual respect and support, Velyanovski said, quoted by Citel TV. Mikov on his part pointed to Bulgaria’s support for Macedonia’s European integration.
