Anti-government protests take place in Bulgaria
Hundreds of people staged anti-government protests across the streets of Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna on June 2.
They blocked crossroads downtown Sofia and called for new elections. Protesters say they want reforms in the political system itself. They voiced their disagreement with the new government and protested in front of the headquarters of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, and the Ataka Party.
