Danube level expected to rise along Bulgarian bank
It is expected the water level in the Bulgarian portion of the Danube River to start rising by the end of this week, the European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) informs.
Figures filed in the Ministry of the Environment and Waters show that around June 9 in the upper flow of the Bulgarian portion of the Danube water level will reach the medium threshold. Yellow code has been declared warning about the heightening tide. However experts do not expect an overflowing of the river along the Bulgarian bank.
