Grigor Dimitrov starts with a victory in London

Bulgaria’s best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov made a successful start of the grass court season at the tournament in London.

The tournament has an award fund of nearly EUR 800 thousand. Dimitrov is #10 in the main draw. He achieved a difficult victory over Dudi Sela, Israel with 4:6, 6:2, 7:6 (4) for 1 hour and 47 minutes. The 22 years old Bulgarian, who is a semi-finalist from last season, won 10 points for the ATP rank list and 5 910 euros. In the second round he will meet former #1 in the world Lleyton Hewitt, Australia.
