Construction in the Crimean resort regions prohibited until autumn

The Crimean Council of Ministers has recommended resort regions’ governors to prohibit construction and repairs during the resort season. The respective resolution has been adopted at today’s session of the Council.

The Crimean Minister of Resorts and Tourism Alexander Liyev has explained: «This is done to arrange comfortable conditions for vacationers and to comply with the maximum permissible noise norms at the resort regions’ territory».

According to A. Liyev, construction is banned at territories, adjacent to tour objects, health hotels and tourism facilities, beaches, embankments, and other public recreation areas.

The prohibition will be effective from July 1 till September 10, 2013.
